Dusty Girls Review

I had a big selection of products sent to me from Dusty Girls which I was so excited about because I have never tried the brand before despite discovering the brand some time ago. Dusty Girls are an Australian, 100% vegan and cruelty free natural mineral cosmetic brand that are made with natural clays of the earth and perfect for sensitive skin, the brand is part of MooGoo skincare which specialise in problem proned skin.

Now first things first I just have to talk about the packaging, it is seriously THE cutest packaging ever and has the most adorable logo I have ever seen. All products are incase in a cardboard sleeve and all products would look simply perfect on show on your dressing table.

Natural Earth Cream *RRP £11.00*
So I'm kicking off my review with the Natural Earth Cream which is what I was probably most excited about to try. It comes in a 50ml bottle with a pump for super easily application and retails for £11.00 which is a fabulous price that won't break the bank! It gives a nice tint to the skin offering light coverage and and gave my skin a healthy glow that felt weightless on my skin, I have also used this under my foundation to give my skin a nice dewy complexion. I am always on the lookout for a light foundation or BB cream to wear during Summer as I never want to wear a heavy foundation as it just ends up melting off my face so this is perfect to wear in the hotter weather as well as everyday use if you want more of a natural look.

Mineral Blush. *RRP £15.00*
I never used to wear blush but lately I've been trying to sneak it into my makeup routine especially since receiving this fabulous Mineral Blush In the shade 'Pink Ladies' (genius I know!), It is a super pretty soft and delicate pink shade that is super pigmented giving my cheeks a pinch of colour and sublet light reflecting shimmer. It applies so easily and has moisturising properties that are found in Jojoba and Macademia oil. It also includes Natural Vitamin E to increase staying power and a blend of natural Micas for colour so everything that was put into this gorgeous blush are completely natural ingredients. It costs £15.00 which is a reasonable price when you compare it to other blush products on the market.

Natural Mineral Foundation RRP *£17.50*
I suffer with dry skin so I try to avoid using powders that are going to cling to the dry areas of my face but I was looking forward to trying this anyway. I was sent the shade 'Fair Minerals' which is the lightest shade in the range and I was happy about receiving this shade as I have a pale complexion and a lot of companies in the past have sent me foundation which is way too dark meaning I've been unable to review it, but this shade matched my skin tone perfectly. Before applying this I used an exfoliant to ensure that my skin was as smooth as possible before application, I then applied with a Kabuki brush. It was really easy to apply and buffed into the skin really well, and felt super weightless on my skin and gave light-medium coverage, my skin looked really healthy and gave a sort of soft air brushed finish and it didn't at all cling to the dry areas on my face which I was really pleased about, overall this is a really good foundation and one that I cannot wait to continue using.

Natural Mineral Mascara RRP *£11.00*
A lot of you know by now that I have a hard time finding mascaras that work because of how small my lashes are, I got that fed up with mascaras and being let down by false advertisement that I wear Fake lashes 98% of the time now. I was septical about using this product because of mascaras not really working for me but I wanted to see how it compared to other brands. It has a screw off lid with a bristle wand which was fabulous as I hate plastic brushes. The mascara comes in one black shade 'Nightfall' and although i absolutley adore the packaging unfortunately it didn't really work for me as good as it would for guys or gals with longer lashes, the formula was a little thinner than mascaras that I normally use so I think that may have been why but I will continue to use along with false lashes because it felt really nice on my lashes and didn't feel clumpy and heavy.

Overall, I absolutely love the Dusty Girls brand, the products give a healthy glow, it looks completely natural and feels as if you aren't wearing any makeup at all which is always a huge bonus as know one wants to feel heavy and cakey. You can buy these gorgeous products over on http://dustygirls.co.uk/
